What is Soul Helix AR (SH.AR)?
SH.AR is a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) game for smartphones. You can join up with friends or go hunting alone to fight the evil creatures threatening our world. You can read more about the background story here.
What does "Closed Alpha" mean?
Our closed alpha version is the first test of SH.AR with a selected number of users. Not all features will be available, only the basic functions. As this is an early version of the game, errors may occur. Also graphically there can be some changes until the game is released. Sharing screenshots is therefore not permitted in the Alpha.
How can I participate?
Subscribe to our newsletter to qualify for the first test. This will then run through the Microsoft App Center, our test platform. Please also check the system requirements.
What are the system requirements?
SH.AR requires Apple ARKit or Google ARCore. In the following lists you can check if your device is compatible.

Which languages will be available in the Alpha?
Our Alpha test will only be available in German. Since we are a very small team, the game texts will not be translated until they are finalized and there can still be a lot of changes until the launch. We're really looking forward to releasing SHAR with a big international community!
When does the test start and how long can I play?
The exact date is still pending. We will inform you in time by e-mail. You can then play SH.AR for about two weeks and leave us your feedback.
What do I get out of participating?
As a tester you get an exclusive preview of the game and can influence the development through your feedback. As an active tester you will also receive a code for the game currency with a value of 10€, a printable spirit hunter certificate and you will automatically be invited to following tests.
How does the feedback work?
During the game you can report bugs and general improvement suggestions for gameplay, UX and performance at any time via the feedback button in the menu.
Can I keep my game progress?
No, your progress will be reset at the end of the test.
